Resolving the Ethical Dilemma: A Clinician's Perspective


What is a clinician to do when they have a patient who continues to receive treatment when a plateau has been reached? The ethical dilemma “To Plateau and Profit or Release and Replace” is a uniquely original but real clinicians occasionally face. The phrasing of this dilemma and course were developed by Lawrence Howard DAc to explore clinical ethics. The course is to assist clinicians navigate between moral and illegal.


This course is clinician-centered and explores ethics from an academic, clinical and pragmatic perspectives. The goal is to explore and help clinicians preserve their ethical integrity and repel “burnout”.
